Alan Harper
My name is Alan Harper born Albany WA, my father was Sydney Harper born Albany WA, Barry Harper was his uncle who I met here when he visited in the early 1970s, subsequentially me and my brother John Harper visited and stayed with Barry and his wife Jean in Torak 1975. Dad and mum met Dale Tryon in London about 1984??.
Three brothers my grandfather Allan, Jack and Harry Harper came to WA early 1905 approximately with their father John Phillip Harper as timber cutters saw millers at Baribup, Kirup, Nannup, hence Barrington was born in Kirup.
Allan stayed in WA the others returned to Victoria. John Phillip died of cancer there, apparently he had became distanced from his wife and family because of his years in WA.
ANDREW HARPER and Maria Harper arrived in Port Phillip bay in 1841 the founding year of the colony, John Phillip was one of their many children.
