Miss Winnie, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W, H. Chad, of Barraba, was married to Mr. Amos Smith, youngest son of Mrs. and the late Mr. F. W. Smith, of Bundarra.de, who wore ivory satin with ninon overdress, and the customary wreath and veil was given away by her father. Miss Lilla Chad (sister) was bridesmaid, and Miss Jessie Chad and Miss Underwood acted as train-bearers. The bride's bouquet, presented bv little Miss Doreen James, was very handsome. Mrs. Chad, mother of the bride, wore a handsome dress of navy glace silk, embroidered Oriental net to match. Miss F. Love presided at the organ, and as the bride left the church to the strains of the Wedding March a guard of honor was formed by the children of her class from the Public School.echanics' Hall where the wedding breakfast was partaken of. The church was tastefully decorated with a wedding bell, and streamers of pale pink and white. The happy couple left by special motor for their future home at Taree. The bride's travelling dress was a check tweed suit, hat to match.
