      R WALTER FORREST

      f Hillston district passed away in the Temora Hospital on 29th November in the person of Mr Walter Forrest. The deceased was born at Murrumburrah in 1874, and came to Hillston with his parents in 1876.

      family: arial, sans-serif;">His father the late Mr James Forrest took up 'Weepool' and after his fathers death Walter carried on the farm, eventually selling out to take over the Gunbar Hotel. On relinquishing as a hotelkeeper he went to Temora where he continued to reside up to the time of his death. His wife, two daughters (Mrs Barry Sydney), and (Mrs King, West Wyalong), and one son survive the father. One son was killed in World War II, and a daughter died some years ago. Mrs Forrest of Molesworth Street, Hillston, is a sister-in- law.
